Nick Pelc -- Owner

    Nick Pelc is the founding member of The DJ Connection. His primary interest is bringing good music and entertainment to others. To that end, he has studied sound engineering and recording with several private instructors and through some workshops at Swallow Hill Music Association.  In the summer of 2010. he attended a workshop at The Musician's Institute in Hollywood, California. He has assembled sound equipment to produce the type and quality of music that others want to hear. He has made live recordings of bands and vocalists, as well as assisting in sound productions at concerts.

    In addition to his interests in sound engineering and recording, Nick is an accomplished musician. He has competed nationally and internationally as a solo bagpiper and with his former band, The Colorado Youth Pipe Band. He has taken instruction from some of the best instructors in the world. He has performed before President Bill Clinton, distinguished audiences and even a crowd of 75,000 at an NFL championship game. He plays other instruments including guitar, keyboard/piano, and drums. As a sound guy, he has mastered the use of the KAOSS PAD in various rock bands. He has begun song writing and even has developed a rock song with a lead bagpipe solo.

    Nick is a senior in high school. He will graduate as a seventeen year old in the class of 2011. He has been recently accepted for the National Honor Society, Sigma Chi Lamda, for high school students.
